Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Shepherdsville, KY

Expand your professional expertise as an ER nurse by collaborating with a highly skilled team using advanced technologies like Cerner EMR, Plumo IV pumps, and Omnicell dispensers. Work alongside ER physicians, hospitalists, and intensivists-learning new leadership techniques and expanding your clinical skill set while strengthening your resume for future roles. With a dynamic patient census and exposure to a broad spectrum of emergencies, you'll be positioned to take your career to the next level.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts available: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a
• Weekend rotation:
  Every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday shifts per rotation (never all holidays)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience (any trauma level)
• No first-time travelers
• Confident IV, foley, NG placement; triage and neuro assessment
• Skilled in codes, pressors, sedation, and care for critical patients
• Adaptable, strong team orientation, and comfortable in leadership roles

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional emergency care to patients ranging from infants to geriatrics
• Manage common diagnoses such as trauma, cardiac events, sepsis, and behavioral health
• Initiate life-saving interventions, assist with bedside procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
• Efficient and compassionate triage, collaborating with providers and support teams
