As a Sr. Quality Coordinator II, your role will be the primary point of contact to execute on all quality containment and inspection requests at PDCs, along with ensuring the proper disposition of said parts has been completed. Additionally, the role will support operations with the shipment of Dangerous Goods (systematic and labeling), as well as, supporting the Continuous Improvement Partners with improving/maintaining quality metrics.
Responsibilities- Maintain high‑quality relationships with Supplier Quality Engineers, NPI Team, Material Planning, and others by working closely and communicating effectively through containment and form/fit/function issues.
- Be comfortable communicating in the Jira project with these teams and ensuring that open items are being addressed and closed in a timely manner.
- Help drive improvements on quality measures at Parts Distribution Centers by assisting the CI partners with audits.
- QA should be comfortable in using tools, like Gensuite, to perform Inbound, Putaway, and Outbound audits to help drive better behavior and ultimately better quality from warehouse operations.
- Assist CI Partners in Root Cause Analysis journey when applicable.
- Work with operations to ensure any/all inspections and repack standards are being followed.
- Includes maintaining and updating the table in SAP for receiving.
- Communicate issues to Service Packaging team, and work through gaps.
- Assist with stock checks and counts upon request.
- Become certified in Dangerous Goods to assist operations with proper labeling and creating DG bill of ladings in house.
- Work with Operations Excellence Team in communicating critical updates around changes.
- Assist with customer returns to the PDCs.
- This could be for parts coming back from Service Centers, 3rd party collision centers, or Adventure gear and merch coming back from customers.
- Be able to complete physical inspections and disposition, along with systematic process in SAP.
- 4+ years of experience in a quality facing role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Ability to stand for 6+ hours per day.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform all duties in a working environment that may contain high noise levels, as well as hot or cold environments.
- Required to effectively communicate using telephone, video conference, or digital tools (email and other applications like those listed above).
- Required travel is 0‑5%.
The salary range for this role is $23.46 to $31.08 per hour for Kentucky based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus.
