As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Route Lead in Shepherdsville, KY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and customer service will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while your communication skills support our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor and report any irregularities or suspicious activities observed during patrols within the logistics and distribution environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as needed while performing assigned duties.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
