As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Shepherdsville, KY

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, following access procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations.
- Support incident response by observing site activity, preparing accurate reports, and relaying information to supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
