** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.

+ Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.

+ Monitor entry points, verify credentials, inspect packages or personal items as directed, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and supporting follow-up actions.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, lobbies, and perimeter access points as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
