Job Schedule:

• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel, verify authorized access as directed by location procedures, and report discrepancies or suspicious activity.
• Support order and traffic flow at gates, docks, and/or designated access points by following post instructions, communicating clearly with site personnel, and completing required logs and reports.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
