Security Officer Screening Support in Shepherdsville, KY — Part Time

As a security screener at a tech-focused location, you will help monitor entry activity, verify access, and support screening processes with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and deliver excellent customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay: $17.63 per hour

Schedule: Part Time

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies; report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, solving problems while supporting security procedures and communication needs.
• Monitor entry points, credential checks, and screening equipment to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly flow of people entering the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that require follow-up or additional security attention.

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
