As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help create a welcoming, security-related environment by screening visitors, monitoring access activity, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and personal belongings in accordance with established screening procedures and applicable site policies.
• Operate screening equipment and maintain awareness of prohibited or unauthorized items entering controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter, while assisting with access control and maintaining accurate activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
