Position Summary:TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant/Apprentice based in Shepherdsville, KY. In this role, the apprentice will work alongside certified NDT technicians to assist with inspection tasks (UT, MT, PT, RT), manage job site equipment, enforce safety boundaries during radiographic testing, and support field operations across various industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:- Assist certified technicians during non-destructive testing inspections and equipment setups.
- Transport, clean, and organize testing tools, materials, and field equipment.
- Support radiation safety practices and secure perimeter boundaries for radiographic testing when required.
- Execute general labor tasks including rigging, lifting, and setting up access equipment.
- Complete daily field reports, timesheets, and required job documentation.
- Comply with TEAM's Life Critical Expectations, client safety rules, and OSHA standards.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings and background checks.
- Ability to obtain site access credentials (TWIC, DISA).
- Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work in elevated or confined spaces.
- Willingness to travel and work extended shifts, weekends, or variable schedules.
- Prior experience in NDT, construction, plant maintenance, or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with basic NDT terminology and inspection procedures.
- Valid TWIC card or OSHA 10/30 safety certification.
