Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 10:00 AM to close. Flexibility in schedule required.
Location:
Onsite at Brooks, KY facility. No remote or hybrid work.
- Direct workflow, motivate, train, and monitor performance of warehouse associates.
- Monitor work processes and recommend changes to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
- Coach employees to support their development.
- Supervise receipt of merchandise and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Oversee staff in counting, weighing, identifying, and verifying items for shipment.
- Oversee filling orders and shipping controlled substances with cage/vault clerks.
- Maintain records of delivery process, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination.
- Manage manifests of routes and departures to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Interact with customers to resolve delivery or order‑filling issues.
- Maintain records documenting order‑filling process (quantity, size, strength, NDC).
- Ensure quality of packing to protect breakable items.
- Maintain detailed records of controlled substances in the cage/vault area.
- Track attendance, monitor performance, and manage overtime of associates.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Require proficiency in operating a reach truck and willingness to work extended hours, weekends, on‑call rotation, and physical inventory.
Four‑year bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Skills and Knowledge- Effective verbal and written communication as a leader.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Good analytical, decision‑making, and leadership/coaching skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with distribution center associates.
- Proficiency in operating a reach truck (required).
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, on‑call rotation, and participate in physical inventory.
