Experienced Electrician Required

We are looking for a time-served Electrician minimum of 5 years experience to join our growing team, working on a variety of industrial and commercial installations in Shepton Mallet and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in three-phase systems and be confident carrying out installation, maintenance, fault finding, and testing work within industrial and commercial environments.

Requirements

Time-served Electrician with relevant qualifications
Good knowledge of three-phase distribution systems and industrial installations
Experience in commercial electrical installations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
Testing and inspection qualifications would be advantageous
Willingness to work away from home on occasion. This typically involves periods of 3-4 days every 2-3 weeks over a duration of approximately two months. All accommodation, meals, and associated expenses are fully covered by the company, with travel time paid from door to door.

Due to the nature of our work, candidates must be able to think on their feet, react quickly to changing circumstances, and work effectively under pressure. The role often involves responding to breakdowns, production-critical faults, and evolving site requirements, so a proactive attitude, sound technical judgement, and the ability to work independently are essential.
