Sample Management Technician

Position: Sample Management Technician Role
Join the dynamic team at Charles River as a Sample Management Technician in Sherbrooke. This role involves managing sample activities, client interactions, and data handling through Watson LIMS®.

You will oversee sample reception, verification, and storage while ensuring accurate data management with Watson LIMS®. Communication with clients is key, along with preparing samples for transport and archival. A diploma in a relevant field and good adaptability are essential prerequisites for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sample reception, data review, and inventories

• Create and maintain databases in Watson LIMS®

• Notify clients of shipment schedules and confirmations

• Prepare samples for shipment and archival processes

• Conduct sample preparation tasks such as centrifugation

Requirements:

• College or Bachelor diploma in a relevant field

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently

• Good computer skills for data processing

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Strong understanding of written English
