Overview
BRP is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. The role focuses on defining and implementing financial processes and deliverables to support New Product Development 3.0 (NPD 3.0) across all stages of the program lifecycle, establishing governance frameworks, and strengthening process robustness through standardized workflows and cross-functional collaboration. The position aims to optimize the NPD-finance process and its ecosystem, develop and track KPIs, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Define and implement financial processes and deliverables to support New Product Development 3.0 (NPD 3.0) across all stages of the program’s lifecycle.
- Establish strong governance frameworks to enable proactive planning, enhance decision-making, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Strengthen process robustness by identifying gaps, standardizing workflows, and integrating best practices across cross-functional teams.
- Optimize the current NPD-finance process and its ecosystem: enhance the existing framework to improve accuracy, efficiency, and standardization. Integrate additional key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide greater visibility into project performance and financial impact.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance and project efficiency, enabling data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A CPA designation and/or Project Management certification are considered strong assets. - Experience:
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, engineering, or project management. - Languages:
Bilingual proficiency in French and English (oral and written) is required. - Advanced proficiency in financial and data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, SAP, Smartsheet and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts such as IRR, NPV, ROIC, EBITDA, Overheads, Capex/Opex, WAAC, etc.
- Communication:
Comfortable presenting to senior management and stakeholders. - Organizational
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex environment. - Teamwork:
Recognized for being a rigorous, dependable, and collaborative team player.
