Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
About the Role  Regional Crane Rentals Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Part/Shop Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our service shop and parts inventory, which specializes in repairs and maintenance for company-owned heavy trucks and cranes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, quick learning and an understanding of the heavy truck/crane industry.

Key Responsibilities   Oversee daily shop activities and ensure efficient and timely service repairs.
Maintain and initiate work orders for repairs and track job progress.
Maintain and update parts inventory for the internal repair department. Sign in new parts into the system and sign out parts used.
Use company systems to maintain accurate service and compliance records.
Source, purchase, and return parts as needed, analyzing options and securing the best deals.
Communicate and maintain positive relationships with manufacturers and parts suppliers.
Utilize a company-provided cell phone and maintain communication with shop staff.
Maintain an organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all legislative safety requirements.

Qualifications & Skills   Prior experience in the heavy truck and crane industry is an asset.
2-5 years of leadership experience in a service shop setting is encouraged.
Strong understanding of parts outsourcing and service operations.
Ability to assess situations, make informed decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Qualified, reliable, and able to work with diverse personalities.
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
