As the Associate Director, you will report to the Assistant Dean, overseeing operational and administrative aspects of the Indigenous Relations Initiative.
Your role will require excellent relationship management and strategic planning skills while navigating the needs of Indigenous communities, nations, and organizations. You will also support financial activities and manage various partnership agreements and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Indigenous Relations Initiative Strategic Plan
• Collaborate on tailored training and educational workshops
• Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders
• Oversee financial planning and budget management
• Represent IRI at various events and committees
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience
• In-depth knowledge of Indigenous governance and aspirations
• Strong communication skills in English and French
• Proven project management abilities
• Commitment to promoting Indigenous excellence
