Accounting Director

Estrie / Beauce – On‑site (1 day remote). Position type:
Permanent. Our client, a well‑established manufacturing company in Québec, is looking for an Accounting Director to join its leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, this individual will be central to the organization’s financial operations and will play a strategic role in optimizing accounting practices.

• Lead the full accounting cycle, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure the integrity of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the organization’s cash flow and financial risks.
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Oversee tax matters and coordinate external audits.
• Coordinate insurance renewals and administer policies.
• Participate in financing activities and manage credit agreements and financial assistance.
• Optimize accounting processes, systems, and practices through technology.
• Mobilize and lead a team of approximately 7 to 8 people.
