Senior Territory Manager - Packaged Gases
Sherbrooke, QC, Canada.
Responsibilities- Generate sales within an assigned territory by managing existing accounts and developing new customers.
- Focus on achieving sales quota through new business development and by strengthening long‑term customer relationships.
- Promote sales and provide ongoing account service to assigned and potential customers, both onsite and by phone.
- Improve gross profit and overall profitability by fully understanding and positioning the company’s value propositions.
- Support and implement marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches within your territory.
- Secure long‑term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements with key customers.
- Maintain an active list of target accounts by generating, qualifying, and following up on new business leads while monitoring competitive activity.
- Ensure complete and accurate account set‑up and pricing data, and demonstrate products to new account customers as needed.
- High‑school diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred to provide a strong educational foundation. - Five to seven years of outside sales experience preferred, ensuring a robust background in sales.
- Experience in industrial gases is an asset, enhancing your expertise in the field.
- Welding experience is preferred, offering additional industry‑specific skills.
