Position: Building Operator for Commercial Properties
Take the lead as a Building Operator managing commercial properties in Calgary, Alberta. Ensure efficient operation and compliance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
The Mullings Group is seeking a proactive Building Operator for a national commercial property management company. This full-time role, reporting to the Facilities Manager, requires expertise in maintaining critical building systems while overseeing vendors and contractors. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring tenant comfort and safety, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting thorough inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Conduct daily building inspections to identify maintenance needs

• Prepare detailed reports on operational performance

• Coordinate vendor activities and project compliance

• Respond to after-hours emergencies in a professional manner
Requirements:

• Certification in building environmental systems or equal

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial operations

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Proficiency with management software like CAFM and Yardi

• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
