About Us

We are a locally owned printing and marketing company serving businesses, nonprofits, and organizations across multiple industries. As a small, established team, we collaborate closely, move quickly, and take pride in delivering high‑quality print and marketing solutions from concept through final production.

We are seeking a versatile Graphic Designer who understands both creative design and the technical side of print production. This role goes beyond traditional design — it includes file troubleshooting, prepress preparation, client guidance, and collaboration with production and sales.

This position is ideal for someone looking for a long‑term opportunity to grow within a specialized and hands‑on industry.

Position Overview

This role combines creative development, print production preparation, and client support. A significant portion of this position involves reviewing and adjusting client‑supplied artwork to ensure it meets professional print standards.

Success in this role requires both creative thinking and technical precision. Great design must also function correctly in production.

Key Responsibilities Design & Creative Development
  • Create print‑ready designs for brochures, signage, banners, vehicle graphics, direct mail, and marketing materials
  • Develop branding and collateral for a variety of clients
  • Prepare accurate proofs and mockups for client approval
  • Maintain brand consistency across projects
File Review & Print Preparation
  • Review client‑supplied files for print readiness
  • Identify and correct issues related to resolution, color mode, bleeds, margins, fonts, scaling, and layout
  • Rebuild or adjust files as needed to meet production specifications
  • Ensure all files are optimized for digital, large format, or offset printing
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding file corrections and improvements
Prepress & Production Coordination
  • Prepare final production files according to equipment and vendor specifications
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate output
  • Troubleshoot file or output issues when needed
  • Maintain organized file management systems
Client & Marketing Support
  • Assist clients with design and marketing recommendations when appropriate
  • Support internal marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales team on proposals and visual presentations
  • Participate in client discussions regarding creative direction as needed
Professional Development & Growth

We provide structured, hands‑on training in our specialized print production environment. While strong foundational design skills are required, we invest in developing team members who are motivated to grow with the company.

Training and development may include:

  • On‑the‑job training in digital, large format, and specialty print applications
  • Mentorship in advanced file troubleshooting and production efficiency
  • Exposure to client strategy and real‑world marketing challenges
  • Increasing levels of responsibility based on performance and initiative
  • Opportunities to expand into leadership or specialized roles over time

This role is designed for someone interested in building long‑term expertise within the print and marketing industry.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop required)
  • Strong understanding of basic print file setup principles
  • Working knowledge of CMYK, resolution requirements, bleeds, and layout structure
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized production workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Professional communication skills
  • Self‑starter who takes ownership in a small team environment

Experience in a print production environment is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical aptitude, coachability, and the desire to master a specialized workflow.

What We Offer
  • Direct involvement from concept through final production
  • Variety of projects across multiple industries
  • A collaborative, close‑knit team environment
  • Structured on‑the‑job training
  • Long‑term growth opportunity within a stable small business
  • Meaningful impact in a hands‑on, entrepreneurial setting
To Apply

Please submit your resume and portfolio. Portfolios should include both creative design work and examples that demonstrate strong print production knowledge or technical aptitude.
