- Friday 8am-5pm. However, the position requires scheduled/unscheduled field work, travel, varying project requirements, weather-dependent activities, and customer-driven schedules that may alter the normal schedule.

This is a full-time, onsite, Environmental Monitoring Systems Technician position located in Sheridan, WY, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.Compensation: $23.00 per hour

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitors environmental monitoring systems and site health to identify system outages, communication failures, equipment malfunctions, data gaps, and other performance issues; communicates system status and required actions to clients and internal staff.

Reviews, evaluates, and reports air quality and environmental monitoring data in accordance with client requirements, project specifications, and established procedures; identifies data anomalies or potential equipment-related concerns requiring further investigation.

Provides technical troubleshooting and support to office and field personnel to diagnose and resolve issues involving monitoring systems, data loggers, sensors, communications equipment, and other field instrumentation.

Coordinates resolution of field equipment issues by evaluating system performance, identifying probable causes, recommending corrective actions, and working with field personnel through testing and restoration of equipment.

Evaluates equipment needs and prepares equipment quotations for new installations, system expansions, upgrades, and replacement equipment based on client requirements, equipment compatibility, and operational needs.

Maintains and supports data logger programs and operating instructions necessary for the proper operation, communication, and data collection of field monitoring equipment.

Repairs, configures, tests, and replaces field monitoring equipment and components to maintain system reliability and minimize monitoring interruptions.

Supports installation and deployment of new or replacement equipment, including equipment configuration, programming, testing, documentation, and coordination with field personnel.

Maintains accurate technical documentation and equipment records, including system configurations, programming, troubleshooting activities, equipment changes, repairs, and replacement history.
