Converse County Aging Services (CCAS) is seeking a Finance Director to lead the organization’s day-to-day financial operations for services supporting older adults throughout Converse County. This on-site role in Sheridan, WY partners closely with the Executive Director

, and community partners to keep budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and internal controls running smoothly.
CCAS offers a competitive starting salary of $70,000 annually

- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure financial documentation remains accurate and complete.
- Prepare, monitor, and support organizational budgets
, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. - Produce financial reports for leadership and the Board of Directors and provide financial information and analysis to support decisions.
- Monitor cash flow
, revenues
, and expenditures to support financial stability. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
, including reconciliations. - Support payroll and related financial processes.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures.
- Coordinate with external accountants,
auditors
, and other financial professionals, including supporting the annual audit. - Identify opportunities to improve financial systems
, efficiency, reporting, and accountability.
- Strong accounting and financial management skills
, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting. - Hands-on experience with accounts payable
, accounts receivable
, reconciliations
, payroll
, and general ledger activity. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial staff and leadership.
- Computer and financial software skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in nonprofit accounting
