Big Horn Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a passionate and motivated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy team in Sheridan, Wyoming
. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate or experienced PTA who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting.

Position SummaryAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will support treatment goals, track resident progress, and contribute to a positive and engaging rehabilitation experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve strength, balance, and mobility
Implement and modify care plans based on resident response and progress
Communicate resident status and changes to the supervising PT
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on exercises and mobility strategies
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulations and policies
Attend team meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment at all times
Active Wyoming PTA license
In good standing with all licensing and regulatory agencies
Prior experience in SNF or long-term care preferred
Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
