Production Supervisor - evening shift

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and oversee the powder coat production for the evening shift that runs from 3PM - 2AM. This position is responsible for leading their team, to optimize resources to maximize throughput of the entire organization, while meeting ship dates, customer service and quality standards.

• Lead team to attain organization production plan schedule
• Perform all necessary supervisory functions to effectively manage personnel
• Embrace and promote positive change that is continent with tenants
• Participate in weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate
• Ensure proper training and maintain qualified staff
• Help in development, refinement, and maintenance of standard work
• Develop individuals for future advancement
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry; experience with powder coat process preferred
• One year leadership experience; supervisory experience, preferred
• Proficiency with lean manufacturing tools and concepts, preferred
• Computer experience with Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to multi-task and lead a team in a fair and consistent manner
• Must be detailed oriented with strong decision making skills
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed

• Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 75 lbs.
• May sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
