Receiving Clerk

Specific Role:

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our growing team at EMIT Technologies. In this role, you'll ensure all inbound materials, parts, and equipment are accurately received, inspected, documented, and staged to support production. This position plays a critical role in maintaining ERP data integrity, VLM support, and material traceability-keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities:

* Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy. Inspect incoming materials for damage, quality, and count accuracy, then record receipts in the ERP system.

* Label all received items with MO tags, barcodes, or color-coded bins to ensure traceability. Segregate and label non-conforming materials for QA review.

* Deliver or stage materials in designated areas, maintaining FIFO rotation and coordinating with Material Handlers and Inventory Specialists for timely replenishment.

* Operate and maintain the Vertical Lift Module (VLM) to support efficient storage and retrieval. Provide coverage and ensure accurate ERP transactions.

* Report discrepancies and assist with vendor returns, collaborating with Purchasing, SCM, and other departments to resolve receiving issues.

* Upload packing slips, certifications, and COAs per SOP. Maintain accurate ERP records for traceability and compliance.

* Safely unload trucks, move materials, and maintain organized receiving lanes according to all safety standards.

Qualifications:

* Previous receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory software a plus.

* Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures.

* Forklift experience or certification preferred (training available).

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Reliability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

* Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.

* Consistent use of required PPE and adherence to safety protocols.

* Follow proper procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.

Pay Range

$18—$24 USD
