Welder is a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for welding parts, according to blueprints and instructions, based on your daily production scheduled expectations.
Key Accountabilities:Perform welding tasks to meet daily production priorities.
Prepare and assemble parts with proper fitment, which may involve cutting, bending, and grinding.
Review blueprints to ensure finished products meet quality specifications.
Identify and elevate errors or process adjustments to the Team Leader as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including completing the weekly welder checklist.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training preferred
1+ year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG/Stick as applicable)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
Proficient in cutting, bending, and grinding to achieve proper fitment
Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
Comfortable escalating errors or process changes to team leadership
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. repeatedly and stand/walk for the duration of a shift
Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all PPE and safety requirements
Self‑motivated with the ability to meet daily production expectations
Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.
- Always use proper PPE when required.
- Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling cleaning materials.
Pay Range
$20 - $42 USD
