Summary DescriptionThe Stock Manufacturing Lead supervises the manufacturing of Weatherby rifle stocks. This role oversees sanding, blemish repair, 3DHex Recoil Pad installation, curing, and inspection. The Lead is responsible for coaching and developing team members, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs are met. Collaboration with other departments is critical to ensure smooth material flow, inventory, and production.

- Supervise stock manufacturing operations including sanding, blemish repair, curing, and 3DHex Recoil Pad installation.
- Set schedules, assign work, and manage throughput to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs.
- Inspect stocks post-coating and curing to ensure Weatherby quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/MES systems and spreadsheets.
- Coach, train, and evaluate employees to build skills and improve performance.
- Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment while enforcing safety procedures.
- Oversee safety protocols, including respirator use and incident reporting.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehousing to ensure material availability.
- Facilitate solutions for production issues and implement process improvements.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth product flow and timely delivery.
- Perform hands-on manufacturing tasks when needed to support the team.
