The Night Shift Lead directs evening operations across multiple production areas to achieve targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This role leads people and process improvements using Lean principles, coordinates with day-shift leadership for clear handoffs and aligned priorities and ensures accurate flow of product through the manufacturing process. The Lead supports employee development, maintains workflow efficiency, and models professional, effective communication across the shift.

- Team Culture – Lead a close-knit evening crew that values collaboration, clear communication, and pride in every product shipped.
- Lead the evening shift to guide units through manufacturing, assembly, finishing, and warehousing processes.
- Prepare clear shift reports and communicate priorities for a seamless handoff to the day shift.
- Plan scheduling and staffing to maintain throughput while upholding quality standards.
- Measure performance against KPIs in safety, quality, delivery, and cost; take action on variances.
- Perform quality spot checks throughout production areas; ensure work meets standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation; use ERP/MES for transactions, inventory, and tracking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area for the team.
- Assist in production work as needed to help the team meet daily goals and maintain workflow continuity.
- Support continuous improvement: sustain lean tools, assist with new equipment/process implementation, and resolve daily production issues.
- Ensure the facility remains safe and secure throughout the shift; use sound judgment to address or report issues immediately, or document them clearly for day-shift follow-up.
