Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and will determine the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care.
• Focus on individual growth and development in practice with increased levels of self-direction.
• Ability to formulate a plan of care based on nursing assessments.
• Seek guidance in how to improve care provided to residents and families.
• Bring principles and theory with limited application of critical thinking skills.
• Seek documentation guidance from the Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator to ensure accuracy of the Resource Utilization Group (RUG) score.
