Why This Role Matters
As an Infusion Nurse, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, patient‑centered infusion therapy while helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident during their care.
Responsibilities- Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line (PICC/port/midline) care
- Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed
- Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care
- Perform venous phlebotomy as needed
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes
- Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams
- Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Valid nursing degree from an accredited program
- IV certification and experience with central line management
- 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar preferred)
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a care team
- Willingness to travel locally to support patients
- Bachelor’s degree, PICC/Port/Midline certification, and multi‑state licensure
$40 – $60 per hour (USD)
Physical DemandsThe employee may stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may also occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
