Registered Nurse

Westview Health Care Center seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Dayville, CT. The RN will provide direct resident care, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical status, and collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing care plans, supervising CNAs, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and ensuring regulatory and infection-control compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols
• Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary team
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and families to optimize outcomes
• Supervise and mentor CNAs and support staff to ensure quality care and safety
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and health management
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and required documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement, shift huddles, and ongoing clinical training
