Westview Health Care Center seeks a Certified Medication Aide to safely administer medications and provide hands-on support to residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include preparing and passing medications per provider orders, monitoring and documenting resident responses, assisting with ADLs, and promptly reporting changes in condition to nursing staff. The CMA will follow infection-control and safety protocols, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Verify medication orders, dosages, and resident identification to ensure safe administration
- Monitor, document, and report residents' responses and any adverse reactions to licensed nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed to support comfort and independence
- Accurately document medication administration and care in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Follow infection-control, safety, and regulatory guidelines in a skilled nursing environment
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, therapists, residents, and families
- Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition, behavior, or status
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and shift handoffs
