Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Sunday to Tuesday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Overnight Mobile Patrol Officer to provide patrol coverage for multiple properties throughout the Sheridan area. This role involves traveling between assigned locations, conducting security checks, and responding to issues that arise during overnight operations. This position is best suited for someone who works well independently, follows established patrol routines, and stays attentive throughout long overnight shifts.

Officers should be comfortable handling field responsibilities with limited supervision while maintaining consistent communication with dispatch and management.

• Conduct scheduled mobile patrols at assigned properties during overnight hours
• Inspect parking areas, building exteriors, entry points, and perimeter locations
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, vandalism, or unauthorized activity
• Respond to alarms, lockouts, and service-related calls in a timely manner
• Follow site-specific post instructions and patrol procedures at each location
• Maintain accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
• Communicate updates, concerns, and incidents to supervisors or dispatch personnel
• Help maintain a professional and visible security presence across all assigned sites
• Operate patrol vehicles safely while following company standards and traffic regulations

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile patrol, field security, or a related role
• Ability to work overnight shifts on a consistent schedule
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct required
• Ability to remain alert and organized while covering multiple locations

• Prior experience handling alarm responses or mobile field operations
• Familiarity with patrol reporting systems and electronic documentation
• Experience working overnight security assignments
• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving ability

• Majority of shift spent traveling between multiple client properties
• Combination of vehicle patrol and on-foot property inspections
• Outdoor work required in varying weather conditions
• Overnight schedule requiring consistent focus and responsiveness
• Fast-paced environment where priorities may shift throughout the shift
