Bridges Diesel and Auto Services in Sherman, TX is looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring every vehicle gets the care it needs and every customer leaves satisfied. We are a small family owned and operated independent repair shop so you will not only be taking on the role as service advisor but helping to manage the entire front end of this shop.

This includes managing our parts orders, intake customer vehicles, handling invoicing, cashier, and more! If you thrive in a fast‑paced shop environment and LOVE talking to and helping people, this is the opportunity for you. We need someone who is excited to work in the Auto shop environment, great at communicating with customers and our team, organized, detail‑oriented, good at multi‑tasking, HONEST, and cares!

• Greet customers and conduct vehicle write‑ups, documenting concerns and service history accurately – provide exceptional customer service
• Communicate clearly between customers, technicians, and parts departments
• Coordinate with technicians to monitor repair progress and ensure timely vehicle completion
• Manage timelines
• Handle customer inquiries, follow‑ups, and connect them with necessary contact
• Process repair orders, invoices, and payments accurately using shop management software
• Process parts invoices and orders
• Maintain strong customer relationships to drive retention and repeat business
• Help manage organization in the office and shop

• Previous experience is a plus but not required
• Working knowledge of automotive repair, diesel services, and maintenance procedures is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑first attitude!!
• Ability to MULTITASK and manage workflow in a busy shop environment
• Experience with shop management software or service writing platforms is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Automotive training or certifications a bonus – not required

Bridges Diesel and Auto Services is a family‑owned and operated Independent Repair Shop in Sherman, TX. We specialize in diesel repair on Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins pickups. We are a full‑service repair shop and also offer repair services for gas vehicles, tractors, and equipment. We take pride in a team‑oriented work environment, Honest service, and just want to do right by all our customers and our employees!
