Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites for delivery, assembly, and inspection of company products.
- Ensure smooth delivery of products and guide their installation.
- Coordinate product release to customers.
- Act as point of contact for stakeholders during deployment, including truck drivers, site construction teams, subcontractors, and employees.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure safe, quality work.
- Review drawings before delivery to validate the logistical plan.
- Resolve construction problems related to delivery and field issues.
- Adapt to changing conditions and schedules throughout project life.
- Perform incoming equipment receiving inspections.
- Document any issues that arise during the inspection process.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience and/or project coordination.
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems in non‑standardized situations.
- Team‑building experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Oracle experience preferred. - Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Work well under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
- Interact professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.
- Computer skills (filing, 10‑key) and basic computer literacy.
Up to 75% travel to job sites across the United States as needed.
General work environment includes sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with typical lighting and air‑conditioning. Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on job sites.
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
