• Safely operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
• Perform various activities including: road building, fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, back filling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, stockpiling, road surface maintenance, building and maintaining road berms, loading trucks, and trenching.
• Operate equipment proficiently and safely.
• Ensure operation of equipment is within capabilities and limitations.
• Perform required safety inspections and complete documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Must have construction experience / heavy construction preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience required.
• Batch Plant experience preferred.

• Read engineering drawing.
• Work safely.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow instructions and meet set standards.
• Judge distances and slopes accurately.
• Make decisions based on verifiable standards.

• Stoop, bend, and crouch.
• Use hands, arms, and legs fully.
• See well (either naturally or with correction).
• Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
