Senior Process Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Release WIP from hold.
• Execute OCAP following process specification.
• Execute engineering experiments per instruction from engineers.
• Train and certify operators and other process technicians.
• Write and proof‑read process specifications.
• Monitor and analyze SPC and process data streams.
• Modify and create process recipes.
• Design and execute engineering experiments and analyze data to generate conclusions.

• Minimum education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required experience:
  
  10+ years related to semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices.

• Knowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices.
• In‑depth knowledge of unit process.
• SEM experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of engineering statistics.
• Fluency in MS Office suite and statistical software such as JMP.

• Exposure to areas where hand tools and power tools are operated.
• Exposure to areas where hazardous chemicals or gases are stored.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements.

• Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods.
• Work with and/or around chemicals such as solids and acids.
• Stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Lift up to 16–30 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 16–30 pounds.
• Sit for up to 4 hours at a time.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and other applicable standards.
