ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive communication skills and/or swallowing functions.
- Provides goal‑oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing function potential.
- Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
- Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
- Requires Master of Speech Language Pathology, which satisfies the American Speech Language Pathology (ASHA) certification.
- Holds current state of Texas licensure in Speech Language Pathology and holds a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
- One to two years of speech therapy experience in an adult setting (long‑term acute care and rehabilitation) is preferred beyond the Clinical Fellowship (CF).
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
- Must hold a current state Speech Language Pathology license.
- BLS certification is required upon hire.
