This is an on-site position at our office at the southern edge of Sherman, TX. We are conveniently located on US-75 near the Sherman/Howe border.
Compensation Type: Hourly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime business hours
The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that documentation is accurate, compliant, and processed on time so field staff can focus on what they do best: providing exceptional care.
In this role, you will:- Review electronic nursing notes in Kan Time to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Approve or return notes for correction as needed
- Verify and process paper notes, including entering visit times and scanning into Kan Time
- Communicate directly with clinicians to discuss corrections and resolve discrepancies
- Mail Medication Logs for p-charts
- Enter late note offenses into Kan Time journal notes
- Support field staff with electronic charting submissions
- Help ensure nurses are paid accurately and on time by maintaining complete, correct documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service, administrative, healthcare office, or other related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
