The Houseman plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the accommodation facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the establishment, including cleaning common areas, assisting with laundry services, and supporting the housekeeping team. The Houseman is responsible for responding to guest requests and ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.

By performing these duties efficiently, the Houseman helps to enhance the guest experience and uphold the reputation of the establishment. Ultimately, this role is essential in creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for all visitors.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a housekeeping or maintenance role preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
Assist housekeeping staff with laundry and room preparation as needed.
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or assistance.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Frequently required to stand, walk, sit.
Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
Frequently required to talk or hear.
Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds.
