Cleaner Operator – Sherman, SD

We are looking to grow our team with a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient Cleaner Operator in Sherman, SD. The Cleaner Operator is responsible for operating seed cleaning equipment to remove foreign material, improve purity, and meet quality specifications, while maintaining lot integrity, safety, and plant cleanliness. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting the warehousing and movement of cleaned seed.

This role reports to the Plant Manager and directly impacts product quality, inventory accuracy, and the customer product experience.

• Execute processing schedule within timing expectations
• Execute on cleaning quality specifications
• Warehouse packaged cleaned products
• Prepare outbound shipments in time for scheduled pickup
• Load and unload bulk seed shipments in a timely manner
• Support inbound receiving reporting and final cleaning reports
• Contribute to general optimization with a continuous improvement mindset
• Assist in the development of standard work procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized facility

• Forklift experience is preferred
• CDL is preferred
