** Position Description**:
The primary purpose of the position is the pulling of orders from warehouse inventory locations, preparing them for transit, and loading them on freight carriers.
** Order Puller Responsibilities****:
**
* Essential Job Functions:

** + Operate all types of forklifts; stand-up, sit down, and order pickers. Move pallets of product from lower to upper tiers of racking.  + Pull customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.  + Performs the final quality check for labels and packaging on finished product.  + Load, adjust and operate shrink-wrap and banding machine.  + Process shipments into operator scan gun system.  

+ Load and unload trucks  + Receive and pick-up product from production.  + Transfer finished product from Production to the proper locations in the warehouse.  + Perform inventory verification on products for the Sales Department at their request.  + Label shipments to be picked up.  + Update inventory system information via scan gun as physical inventory movements occur.

* Must have the ability to complete two or more tasks simultaneously.
* Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision and maintain a working and up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
* Must be able to handle self in a professional manner with co-workers and supervisors.
* Ability to take responsibility for self and team.
* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to continually bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulder, use arms, wrists, grasp and squeeze with hands, access constricted spaces, and lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Must be able to withstand occasional exposure to dusty or dirty ambient conditions.
* Must be able to withstand occasional exposure to hot or cold ambient conditions.
* Must be able to withstand occasional exposure to mild chemical irritants.
* Training:
** Training would be a mixture of online training on safety, quality, and production procedures along with on-the-job training conducted by an experienced Order Picker.
* Additional training would be provided as needed by the Shipping & Warehouse Manager.
* Training duration would normally be 1 month.
