PET​/Injection Machine Operator

Location:

4201 S Highway 75, Sherman, Texas 75090. Shift: 8 hr – 1st Shift (USA).

The PET/Injection Machine Operator will operate machinery to produce pre‑forms and/or PET bottles, following Good Manufacturing Practices and ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

• Operate injection molding machine to shape plastics.
• Monitor production process and downstream equipment, making process adjustments when needed.
• Verify pre‑form attributes using statistical process control techniques.
• Perform quality assurance testing using laboratory equipment.
• Adjust machine settings according to product specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical and process problems.
• Perform maintenance on equipment, including repair or replacement of pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
• Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
• Train new PET/Injection Machine operators.
• Prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• AS degree preferred.
• Formal education or apprenticeship in the area of specialty preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
