Work Setting: 100% onsite semiconductor manufacturing environment
Relocation: Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000
Bonus: Annual performance bonus target of approximately 12%

Position SummaryThe Equipment Engineering Sr. Team Lead – A Shift is a hands‑on semiconductor equipment leadership role responsible for supervising a team of equipment technicians while supporting critical wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment uptime, driving troubleshooting and repair efforts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced semiconductor production environment.
This role combines frontline leadership with deep technical equipment expertise. The ideal candidate will have strong experience maintaining semiconductor wafer processing equipment, leading technicians in high‑volume manufacturing environments, and supporting both reactive maintenance and preventive maintenance activities across complex toolsets.

What You’ll Do- Supervise and lead a team of 6–10 equipment technicians supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations
- Coordinate daily technician priorities and assignments based on production and engineering requirements
- Support equipment troubleshooting, escalation management, and repair activities across wafer fab and assembly equipment
- Drive equipment uptime, maintenance execution, and operational efficiency improvements
- Perform and oversee both preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance activities
- Support engineering improvement projects, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and coach technicians on troubleshooting methodologies and technical development
- Collaborate closely with Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, Facilities, Production, and Test Engineering teams
- Track, document, and communicate equipment maintenance progress and operational status updates
- Support troubleshooting and repair efforts on equipment including LPCVD systems, Ashers, grinders/saws, SRD tools, and related semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Validate corrective actions through equipment operation and process verification activities
- Support training and onboarding of new team members
- Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) responsibilities as required
- Maintain accurate records within manufacturing systems including Camstar and related platforms
- Support compressed shift manufacturing operations with flexibility for occasional nights/weekends as business needs require
- 5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience within wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing environments
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience supporting equipment technicians
- Strong troubleshooting and repair experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Hands‑on experience with equipment such as LPCVD systems, Ashers, Disco grinders/saws, SRD tools, or related wafer processing platforms
- Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment systems including vacuum, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and process diagrams
- Experience supporting preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs
- Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced production environments with competing priorities - Experience working within semiconductor cleanroom environments
- Military electronics certification or Associate’s degree in Electronics or related technical discipline
