** Base Pay:**  $21.00 to $25.00/hour (Depending on Experience) +  **$3.00/hour Night Premium*

** Position Overview*
* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented  
** CNC Machine Operator
** to join our manufacturing team in Sherman, TX. In this role, you will operate CNC machinery to fabricate and machine high-quality steel parts and rail components used in railroad track and turnout assemblies. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity with a robust benefits package available upon permanent placement.

** Key Responsibilities*

** Machine Operation:
** Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts and rail precisely according to blueprints and technical specifications.

** Quality & Precision:
** Use specialized measuring devices (calipers, tape measures down to the $1/32$ nd) to check part accuracy and mark materials accordingly.

** G-Code & Offsets:
** Read, interpret, and make basic alterations to M & G code; adjust tooling offsets and identify/replace worn or damaged inserts.

** Material Handling:
** Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy rail components through the production area.

** Documentation:
** Complete clear, legible production reports with high accuracy.

* Experience:

** Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining/operator experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment (Multi-axis machining experience is highly preferred).

Skills:

** Proven ability to read calipers and tape measures down to $1/32$ nd, alter M/G codes, and manage tooling offsets.

** High School Diploma or GED required.

** Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask with minimal supervision, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

** A comprehensive understanding of safe work practices in a heavy industrial setting.

** Pre-Employment Screening:
** Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen (8-panel, excluding THC), medical review, and a standard 7-year criminal background check.
