We are looking for a highly skilled mechanic to anchor our critical second shift operations.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Mechanic to serve as the Lead Mechanic and Manager on Duty for our second shift (2:00 PM 10:00 PM). This is a dual-responsibility role where you will balance hands‑on mechanical repair with critical supervisory duties, ensuring production continuity and safety during your shift. This role requires technical mastery and strong leadership skills.

• Mechanical & Maintenance Leadership: Perform advanced preventative maintenance and repair on industrial production equipment (e.g., wire drawing machines, manufacturing presses).
• Second Shift Management: Serve as the Manager on Duty for the second shift (2:00 PM 10:00 PM), overseeing all operational flow, production continuity, and addressing immediate issues.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures quickly and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company and regulatory safety policies, ensuring a safe work environment for all second-shift personnel.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift for moving equipment and materials (training provided, but experience is preferred).
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

• Experience: Proven, verifiable experience as an Industrial or Plant Equipment Mechanic.
• Leadership: Prior experience in a supervisory, team lead, or managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  Strong proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic industrial electrical systems.
• Schedule: Mandatory availability to work the full second shift schedule (2:0 PM 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday).
• Equipment: Must be willing to obtain or have prior experience operating a forklift (in‑house training provided).
• Location: Ability to reliably commute to the facility in Sherman, Texas.
