CMP​/Wet Process​/YE Process Engineering Supervisor

Change the world. Love your job. The CWY (CMP, Wet, YE) Team in SMFAB is seeking a Process Engineering Technician Supervisor to join our team! This position reports to the CWY PE Section Manager and is responsible for supervising the technician workforce inside a manufacturing environment and having CWY Process Ownership.

In this role, process ownership will remain the primary job function expected to utilize greater than 50% of their time. The individual will supervise process technicians who oversee processes on production equipment, and perform engineering tasks and projects as necessary. This includes enabling technicians to properly disposition material, be a primary point of contact for escalations, and be accountable for the performance of the shift technician team to achieve goals in production, quality, productivity, and cost.

In addition, as an Engineering Supervisor you will also develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas and coordinate process technicians training.

• Supervise the technician workforce inside a manufacturing environment and maintain CWY Process Ownership (primary job function >50% of time).
• Oversee processes on production equipment and perform engineering tasks and projects as needed.
• Enable technicians to properly disposition material and serve as a primary point of contact for escalations.
• Be accountable for the performance of the shift technician team to achieve goals in production, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Develop work schedules and determine manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Coordinate training for process technicians to ensure competency and compliance.
