Job Description
The Minister of Youth & Music plans, prepares, coordinates and evaluates the youth and music ministries of the church under the direction of the Pastor.
Duties include:
- Developing & maintaining a youth discipleship ministry involving small groups and Wednesday night services.
- Organizing youth activities such as camps, retreats, missions and fundraisers.
- Leading worship during all church worship services.
- Working with musicians to develop their talents and abilities.
- Being available to church members for counseling and spiritual direction.
Some prior ministry experience and a college degree are preferred but are not an absolute requirement. Applicants must pass a background check before being hired.
Compensation/Pay$50,000-$55,000 annually based on experience and education
