Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company’s products and services. Maintains merchandise presentation through stocking, cleaning, and organizing displays, removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, and secures fragile and high‑shrink items. Maintains the Sales Floor in the Optical area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.

Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area, operates equipment, and completes required paperwork and logs. Operates hardware such as cash registers, processes member purchases, and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Sells Optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, processing contact lens orders, verifying prescription information, completing paperwork, collecting payments, and performing and recording optometric pre‑tests.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may be paid as premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, dependent on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply when criteria are met.
