Direct Sales Representative

• Secure new recurring revenue from residential prospects
• Secure new incremental revenue from existing customers through proactive communication and in-person visits
• Conduct quality face-to-face in-home sales presentations to new Sparklight customers
• Identify customer needs, wants, and desires and match them with company products
• Diplomatically handle interactions with potential customers
• Reconcile daily sales orders with install reports and maintain sales-order documentation
• Attend in-person sales meetings and management-directed training sessions
• Achieve established sales goals and quotas
• Work independently to promote Sparklight residential products and services
• Manage a monthly portfolio of prospects and optimize time and routes for face-to-face interactions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one year of proven sales experience; or 2 years of college; or equivalent combination of sales experience and college education
• Stable work history
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation/vehicle where applicable and automobile insurance as required by Sparklight
• Must be able to maintain proper appearance/attitude to represent Sparklight in the community
• Must have basic mathematical and computer skills
• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk for extensive periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work evening and weekend requirements
• Proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
