** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access activity involving personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and/or restricted areas, helping to support site rules, badge checks, and visitor processing requirements.

+ Support incident reporting, shift pass-down communication, and post order compliance while remaining prepared to respond to medical, fire, and other security-related concerns as directed by site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
